“Ahh… A woman after my own heart.” – Andrew Zimmern (Bizarre Foods)
Melody Fury is the founder of Vancouver Food Tour.
She showcases Vancouver city’s food scene through her diverse culinary insight, engaging personality, and dynamic presentation styles.
As a multi-faceted writer, social media personality, and photographer, she promoted Vancouver’s food scene during the 2010 Winter Olympics. She unveiled our city’s gems to an International audience as the Vancouver correspondent for Serious Eats.
Braving bumpy waters, she took NBC’s Today show on a sustainable prawn trapping expedition with Vancouver Aquarium’s Ocean Wise Program and Organic Ocean. James Beard Award winner Jennifer English also sought Melody’s expertise on a live radio interview during her visit.
Nothing can stop this lovable food and travel enthusiast from investigating and reporting on our city’s cutting-edge culture.
“Clearly a ‘rennaisance’ foodie, Fury writes with authority and shares beautiful photos of her recipes and culinary excursions.” – Eat Magazine

“One of the voices that the experts that come to town to tell the story about Vancouver food have turned to… a terrific writer with a very fresh voice and her take on her hometown is well worth reading.” – Jennifer English (Food and Wine Radio)
