In light of the series of disasters that recently occurred in Japan, the food blogging community is teaming up to do our part.
Joy of Gourmeted and I announce Bake for the Quake, a collective bake sale to raise funds for Japanese earthquake and tsunami relief.
The proceeds will go directly to Doctors without Borders. See our progress.

We are now making an open call for talented bakers in the Lower Mainland of Vancouver. We are also in need of sponsors and volunteers.
Please get in touch with us if you’d like to be involved. This is a great opportunity to show off your goodies, as well as network and mingle with fellow food lovers. Of course, all of this is in the name of a worthy cause and we need all the support that we can get.

Event information:
Roundhouse Community Arts & Recreation Centre
Date: April 20th at 6-8:30pm
Address: 181 Roundhouse Mews Vancouver, BC

Please save the date and we hope to see you there!
Also, please help spread the word. We will be tweeting as @BakeForTheQuake, with the hashtag #BakeForTheQuake.
