Cocktail lovers’ engagement photoshoot at Peché, Austin’s first absinthe bar

Take a sneak peek at the Cocktail Ninja’s engagement photo session with @TheRealMrFury in Austin, Texas.

One of our photo locations was at Peché, my favourite craft cocktail and absinthe bar in Austin. I was immediately drawn to their bibliothèque of fine spirits, towering absinthe drips, and the extensive cocktail menu. Their knowledgeable and skilled bartenders are decked in pre-prohibition era service attire – love that. Not only are their drinks always spot-on, their classic French fare and house-made charcuterie are equally exquisite.

We shared a memorable (and chilly) January afternoon messing about behind the bar, being cautious not to knock anything off the top shelves. Although it was challenging to perform acrobatics in heels on the ladder, the results are definitely worth it. How could it not when we combined my two passions…? :D
