I’m unspeakably proud to be a Canadian and particularity, a Vancouverite today.
This morning, the Olympic excitement really hit me when the torch passed by my window, followed by maddening cheering and music. As I follow the torch on TV and Twitter, I’m welling up with patriotic pride. Watching the flame being passed from one unique Canadian to the next, I’m reminded once more that cultural diversity is our nation’s remarkable treasure.
