Guest Bloggers Search: Share Your Family Recipe

I love Gastown, it’s true.

  • I love its historical, old-world charm by day.
  • I love its eclectic grog scene by night, ranging from easy gastropubs, hidden cocktail gems, seedy pubs, to even absinthe at a bistro.
  • I love its cobblestone alleyways that often trip me as I migrate from one establishment to the next.

This neighbourhood is the closest thing to Europe in young Vancouver… but it’s just not close enough.

So I’m going to Europe, it’s true too!

On the itinerary: Paris, Marseilles, Florence, Venice, Barcelona, and other little towns en route. I’m incredibly excited!

I’d love your contribution while I’m away!

EDIT: I have my bloggers lined up! Thank you for your participation and please look forward to some wonderful recipes soon!

@ Pete: I know! My eyeballs are going to fall out and my jaw will unhinge. We only have one market in Vancouver I really enjoy and it’s a speck in comparison.

Have fun. Try the Osteria D’Alberto in Venice. Loved it. And Can Paixano in Barcelona – so much fun. Plus the Boqueria, of course.

I stopped by to say hello and thank you for the visit to my place. I made the mistake of deciding to take a peek and, have as a result, been here too long. I really enjoy what you are doing here. Enjoy your trip! Mary

Don’t know about having a recipe or being worthy of guest blogging on your marvellous blog but as someone who lived in Paris for years, goes back there pretty much every year and who was in Cassis (near Marseille) a couple of years ago, I have plenty of pictures…
